Andy Poarch - COO

Andy is an attorney by training, with a corporate and transactional background at a large international law firm. Andy also has extensive experience in state government, having worked in senior positions for two Virginia Governors with responsibility for managing enterprise-wide projects. 

In his leadership role, Andy works on behalf of the CEO to manage the team and oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations.  Andy also handles business development efforts and strategic planning to guide the firm’s continued growth and success. 

Andy advises clients in a wide range of industry sectors – including global Fortune 500 companies, local small businesses, non-profits, and government agencies - on their communications and branding strategies, including media relations needs.  Andy has valuable public policy experience in helping clients engage with elected officials to navigate the legislative and regulatory processes at the local, state, and federal levels.  Andy manages the firm’s community engagement efforts and, in this role, has organized and directed successful statewide and regional grassroots campaigns to build and mobilize broad and diverse coalitions for influencing key constituency groups and opinion leaders across Virginia.

Andy earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia.  Andy is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations in the Richmond community, including ChamberRVA, and is a graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond.  

Andy is a proud father to two wonderful sons and the husband of the wonderful and creative Anne Poarch. Anne is a talented small business owner and entrepreneur who founded Basket & Bike, a company that offers guided bicycle tours along the Virginia Capital Trail and through downtown Richmond.
